Easy Sausage Rolls

Ingredients

Makes 6 large, 12 medium or 18 small sausage rolls

  • 6 Flavoured Sausages of your choice
  • 3 sheets Puff Pastry
  • 1 egg whisked for wash

Method

  1. Thaw the puff pastry sheets and cut in half.
  2. Slit the skin on the sausages and press open.
  3. Lay the sausages on each puff pastry sheet and roll up. (cut of any extra that you don’t need)
  4. Use the whisked egg and brush around the edges to seal the sausage roll. Cut in half if you want medium sized sausage rolls.
  5. Lay the sausage rolls on baking paper. Spread them out so they cook evenly.
  6. Brush the sausage rolls with whisked egg.
  7. Cook in the air fryer for 15 minutes before turning over and cooking for another 5 – 8 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and serve with your favourite sauce.

When you slit open the sausages you can add some extra ingredients such as chilli, a little garlic, shallots etc. for added flavour.
