Washington to Edenton

Saturday 7th December 2019

We picked up our hire car – a Dodge Charger from Raegan Airport and started driving south.  We drove over and under some massive expanses of water in Chesapeake region before arriving in Edenton.  A pretty little down on the water with a population of 5000.

On the recommendation from Louise Clark (Carmel’s friend in Washington) we dined at 309 before heading further down the street to Malcolm’s Wine Shop for Vinyl Night with Eddie and Melissa.  We were a great source of entertainment throughout the night with Eddie playing INXS, Midnight Oil and  Men at Work.  He also featured Carmel (Piano Man) and Geoff (Dueling Banjos) in a few karaoke sessions.
